First, it can pre-roll footage meaning instead of recording when it detects motion, it pre-rolls recordings so you can see what lead up to the motion event. It also features birds-eye view which gives you an overhead view of your property using radar detection. And to top it off, it offers higher quality audio and 3D motion detection for more accurate alerts.

• Wired Video Doorbell Pro: Another premium video doorbell, the Wired Video Doorbell Pro features a wide viewing angle that lets you see a person’s head to their toes when they stand in front of the camera. It has other improvements over the original Plus version, as well, like better audio quality, motion detection, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Video Doorbell Elite: The Elite version of the Video Doorbell is primarily geared towards the more tech-savvy or those paying for a professional installation. This doorbell is hardwired through the home’s ethernet connection, which requires no battery and offers more reliable Internet connectivity. This option would mainly be for those adding a smart video doorbell to a broader security system.
• Peephole Cam: The Ring Peephole Cam is an interesting one. It attaches directly to a standard peephole for an easy installation without requiring an existing doorbell. In design, it looks similar to the Wired Doorbell line with a slim aesthetic and rounded edges on each side. Except, it’s battery-powered instead of hardwired.
