Gene Petrino

Gene Petrino is passionate about creating a safer world for everyone and has the skill and experience to support this cause. Throughout his decorated career, he has worked road patrol, risen from officer to sergeant, trained recruits as a police academy instructor, and led multiple teams as a S.W.A.T. commander.

Gene worked for the Plantation Police Department in Broward County, FL, supervising street crimes, field force, and S.W.A.T. He was also a part of several agencies ranging from gangs to firearms and contributed to a multiagency burglary task force, which involved conducting surveillance and sharing knowledge on criminal techniques.

Since retiring, Gene has made it his mission to ensure no one ever feels like a victim of their circumstance by equipping citizens with the training, knowledge, and skills to handle threatening situations. He dedicates his time to teaching others how to identify threats before an attack occurs. You can follow his work at Survival Response LLC.
